About

So a quick bit about me, I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2013 after gaining an MBiolSci in Biology with Conservation & Biodiversity. I then worked for the British Ecological Society, firstly as their Policy Intern, and then as their Policy & Education Assistant. I loved working there, but alas it was not fishy enough for me! So, in September 2014 I decided to move to Exeter and start my PhD!

When I’m not researching fish stuff, you can find me riding a horse, doing nail art or drinking cider in a local pub.

I set up this website/blog as a way to document my PhD adventures and share research that my colleagues and I do.
